The Transition Services Division is known as 'A Community Transition Initiative' (ACT I).

Transition Services promote movement from school to post-school activities, including prevocational training, integrated/supported employment, independent living or community participation.

Activities may include instruction, community experiences, the development of prevocational skills and other post-school adult living objectives, and, when appropriate, acquisition of daily living skills and vocational evaluation.
